Things to listen to
I couldn’t possibly link to all the netlabels, commercial labels and radio services that I frequently use. I’d miss things out and feel guilty. Instead, here are some tips for finding music online.
1. Spend some time on archive.org, Our Media and ccmixter
2. Try joining mailing lists, forums and other online communities. Yahoo! has a group called Net Label Releases, for example.
3. Visit netlabels.org.
4. Find some weblogs and subscribe to their RSS feeds, or podcasts. For example, Swen’s blog is a good source of information and links to mp3s of contemporary music.
